About the Role
The position is based in Port Moresby and will report to the Team Leader Systems Operations. The successful incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Senior System Operators in being responsible for the effective monitoring of the whole BSP Network Operations and the successful completion of the End of Day processing for PNG and the Pacific Markets.
Key Deliverables
- Responsible for the effective execution of all daily Operations tasks (Posting of Batches & Pays, Reprinting of Reports and etc.) for PNG and all Pacific Markets.
- Responsible for the effective execution and successful completion of all End of Day processing on Production and Test Environments.
- Responsible for completion the End of Day process Summary Report for Senior Operator’s review and approval for distribution.
- Responsible for ensuring that ALL End of Day processing reports for the branches are correctly queued to each respective sites for printing or archiving to Bizedoc.
- Effectively monitor the BSP IT Network Operations via the monitoring screen on the iNOC Walls and escalation any issues /Problems promptly to the respective technical teams for resolution within the time frame.
- Ensure that all IT Applications & Servers monitored are available 24 by 7 (24/7) at all times during working days, after hours and on the weekends.
- Deliver required data extracts for OFSAA and AML to the required Business Units with the required SLAs.
- Complete Work Orders and any other tasks including IT Helpdesk after hour’s task assigned by Senior System Operators.
Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in IT.
- ICBS System Knowledge.
- Analytical and Trouble shooting skills.
- Microsoft Application Knowledge (Foundation).
- Knowledge in High Availability Solutions.
- Team management skills.
- IT Application Knowledge in the Banking Industry.
- Experience in any other IT working environment.
